Bio-cleaning is considered the first act of care. It aims to reduce or eliminate microorganisms on surfaces. At the Regional Hospital Center in Rennes, bio-cleaning practices are part of the dynamic of innovation of a committed policy for sustainable development.
The latest version of the system proposed by Cleanea is used in addition to techniques such as pre-impregnation or nebulization.
"The fight against nosocomial infections is a top priority" says Emmanuel Gorain, Bio-cleaning manager at Rennes University Hospital.
An affirmation corroborated by the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) which recalls that the fight against nosocomial infections has been a national priority since the 1990s (report on the results in terms of quality and safety of care in hospitals and clinics in France , 2014).
It should be noted that around 750 000 patients in France leave the hospital with one of these diseases (figures Institut de veille sanitaire, 2012).
One in twenty hospital patients leave with a nosocomial infection.
With its ecological disinfectant solution, Cleanea combines sustainable development with the fight against these infections.
